Gordon Hayward-Grant

Gordon is Ofgem’s Deputy Director for electricity storage and interconnection within Ofgem’s major projects directorate. He established Ofgem’s work on Long Duration Electricity Storage in 2024. In prior roles in Ofgem he led Ofgem’s work on new nuclear, carbon capture and storage and hydrogen transport and previously worked on offshore transmission and competition in electricity transmission. Gordon has also worked in management consulting at PwC, for the BBC and for Ofwat.
