Dan Taylor

Dan Taylor is Director of Engineering at Arenko, responsible for the company’s software, infrastructure, data and delivery functions. His team builds and runs Nimbus, Arenko’s platform for monitoring, optimising and trading grid-connected batteries and renewables. Nimbus ingests over 7 billion rows of data a day across 1.5GW of battery assets, turning that into real-time performance insight and data-driven decisions for traders and asset managers. Before joining Arenko, Dan spent 15 years leading data teams outside the energy sector, including at Compare the Market and Trainline.
